Information we collect
We collect only the contact and journey information you choose to provide: name, phone numbers, optional email, route, travel timing, party size, vehicle preference, flight number when relevant, and notes. When a confirmed journey is paid through Dialog Pay, we retain the transaction reference, amount and verified status. Pearl Taxi does not receive your card, banking login, PIN or OTP. Do not submit those details in the booking form.
Why we use it
We use booking information to assess the request, contact you, prepare a quotation, arrange the journey, keep necessary business records, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
Storage and access
Production booking data is stored in Cloud Firestore. Access is limited to authenticated administrators with an authorized admin claim. Public visitors cannot read booking records.
Sharing and retention
Information may be shared with the assigned transport provider only as needed for the requested journey. Records are retained only as long as needed for operations, disputes, accounting or legal duties, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You may ask to correct or delete eligible personal information by contacting the business. Some records may need to be retained where law or an active dispute requires it.
Maps, reviews, payments and external contact
Google Maps may process location searches when configured. When the Tripadvisor review panel loads, your browser connects directly to Tripadvisor to retrieve current review content; Tripadvisor’s own privacy practices apply to that connection. WhatsApp links open a service operated by Meta, and information you send there is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices. A payment link connects to Dialog Pay Business, which processes the payment under its own privacy and security terms.
