Arrival in Sri Lanka – Airport Pickup & Colombo City Tour
Meet and greet at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Colombo. Enjoy a Colombo city tour covering popular attractions and tourist activities. Check in to the hotel and overnight stay in Colombo.
Colombo to Pinnawala, Dambulla & Sigiriya
: After breakfast, depart in the morning and travel towards Pinnawala. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and enjoy watching the elephants, Continue the journey to Dambulla and visit the famous Dambulla Cave Temple (Golden Temple), explore the ancient cave paintings, Buddha statues and surrounding cultural attractions. Enjoy a relaxing lunch and continue to Sigiriya. Upon arrival, explore the beautiful surroundings of Sigiriya, enjoy a village/cultural experience and relax at the hotel for an overnight stay in Sigiriya.
Sigiriya to Kandy – Spice Garden, Gem Museum & Kandy Sightseeing
After breakfast, depart from Sigiriya to Kandy. On the way, visit a Spice Garden and learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices and traditional products. Continue to Kandy and enjoy a full day of sightseeing, including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, Kandy View Point, Kandy Cultural Dance Show, National Museum of Kandy, Royal Botanical Gardens (Peradeniya), Gem Museum and other famous attractions around Kandy. In the evening, relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of Kandy. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Nuwara Eliya Scenic Journey
Start the day with a morning departure from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya through the beautiful hill country. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views, lush tea plantations and scenic waterfalls along the way. Visit the Ramboda Falls, Ravana Temple and Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, important Ramayana-related attractions. Continue to a tea factory to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous Ceylon Tea and enjoy a tea tasting. After exploring the beautiful surroundings, continue the scenic journey and arrive in Nuwara Eliya for an overnight stay.
Nuwaraeliya, Ella, Bentota
Early Morning in Nuwara Eliya: Start your day bright and early in Nuwara Eliya, visiting the sacred Seetha Amman Temple, relaxing at Victoria Park, and capturing memories at the historic Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Journey to Ella: Head over to Ella and dive straight into the excitement! Experience all the top local activities, including the vibrant nightlife, traditional cultural dance shows, and much more. Ella to Bentota Road Trip: On the way from Ella to Bentota, get ready for an adrenaline rush at the famous Ravana Curve! Ravana Exploration: Hop on a tuk-tuk to explore the curve (you can hire one locally; fares and waiting times by the hour are managed on your own). Afterward, visit the majestic Ravana Ella Falls before continuing your scenic drive down to the beautiful coastal town of Bentota.
Bentota Day Tour (An Unforgettable Day!)
Waking up early in Bentota, our group kicked off the day with an incredible lineup of activities: Water Sports: We spent the morning enjoying thrilling water activities in the Bentota river/lagoon, including Jet Skiing, Banana Boat rides, and more. Turtle Hatchery: Next, we visited a local turtle hatchery to see adorable baby turtles and learn about their conservation, which was a truly heartwarming experience. Madu River Safari: In the afternoon, we went on a relaxing boat safari down the Madu River, cruising through the mangroves, bird-watching, and exploring small islands. After ticking off all the coolest things to do in Bentota, we wrapped up the day filled with wonderful memories and got ready for our next leg of the journey.
The Next Day (7th) - Journey to the Airport
On the following day (the 7th), we set off early from Bentota and headed straight to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake. With unforgettable memories from our entire trip, we smoothly completed our airport transfer to catch our flight back home.
