Pinnawala, Spice Garden, Gem Museum & Kandy
Start the day early in the morning and travel to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Enjoy watching the elephants and their daily activities. After Pinnawala, visit a Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices and Ayurvedic products. Free entrance. Continue to a Gem Museum, where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s world-famous gemstones and traditional gem-mining industry. Free entrance. Then continue directly to Kandy and check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy the famous Kandy Cultural Dance Show, featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing and drumming. Ultimate Hill Country Route: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After exploring Kandy, we travel to Nuwara Eliya through the beautiful hill country, enjoying mountain views and tea plantations. Along the way: Ramboda Waterfall Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple – time for prayers and blessings Tea Factory & Tea Plantation – free entrance, tea-making experience and tasting Continue to Nuwara Eliya and check in to the hotel.
